The Ivory Treesnail (Noctepuna cerea) is one of Australia’s more beautiful snails. It has a medium sized shell and is white with a purple spire.

Key localities for this snail are Cedar Bay; Mt Carbine; Mt Halycon and Mossman Gorge. It lives in the rainforest and can be found on the leaves of trees.

It is distinguished by its shell colour and the animal’s body colour which is entirely white.
